Adding Pictures to an Estimate

Adding pictures to your estimate will remind you exactly what space you are working on and make the estimate you produce look really impressive to your client! When doing exterior work, you can take a picture of each side of the house or each interior space when you’re working inside.

PEP allows you to add a picture while creating an estimate, or you can edit the estimate to add a picture later.

Adding pictures while creating an estimate:

  1. Add a new area by clicking the PLUS sign (+) at the top of your Areas list
  2. Name the Area
  3. Add a picture by clicking CHOOSE FILE
  4. Select the photo from your computer
  5. Click OPEN
The mobile version of the program (using a smart phone or tablet) allows you to use your device’s camera to snap a photo, which is the fastest and easiest way to add a picture to your estimate.
  6. Check the I HAVE SOME BASIC MEASUREMENTS TO ENTER box
  7. Enter those measurements (eg. Length: 12’ x Width: 13’ x Ceiling Height: 9’)
  8. Click SAVE
A thumbnail of the picture will appear next to the area in the list on the left side of the page.

Adding pictures later:

  1. Select the area from the Areas list on the left side of the page
  2. Click EDIT AREA at the top of the items list
  3. Click CHOOSE FILE under the picture heading
  4. Select the photo from your computer
  5. Click OPEN
  6. Click SAVE
