How to Organize an Estimate with Areas


After you’ve added your Client and added a New Job, you’re ready to arrange your estimate and organize Areas! 

For an interior job, each room can be its own Area. For exterior jobs, each face of the building can be a unique Area (front of house, back of house, left side, right side, etc.). If you have a house with multiple layers, imagine that it is flat and use the widest and tallest measurements.


How to Organize Areas


Add a new Area by clicking the PLUS sign (+) at the top of your Areas list on the left side of the page.

  1. Name the Area
  2. Upload photos (optional)
  3. CHECK the box for “I Have Some Basic Measurements”
  4. Enter the measurements of the Area
  5. click SAVE at the bottom of the window
