Use a PEP Takeoff Form.

If you’re more comfortable taking notes on paper, use a PEP Takeoff Form. We’ve made a couple of paper forms that line up with our digital format. You can be certain to get all the details you need and streamline the task of transferring the data.

Set up your hourly labor charge.

You need to make enough money to pay your crew, but that’s not the only business expense. You’ve got insurance, vehicle costs, your own salary! And you want to make a profit. PEP uses a fully loaded labor rate in its calculations: this accounts for raw wage, overhead, profit, and taxes. Use PEP’s Labor Pricing Seminar to figure out your fully loaded labor rate.
